  • 1 cup Bread sides/corners
  • 1.5 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Peanuts 
  • 2 Chopped Green chili
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 small Onion (fine chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Tomato (fine chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Chopped carrot
  • 1 tbsp Corn seeds
  • 2 tbsp Freah peas
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp  Red chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Desiccated coconut
  • few Coriander leaves (fine chopped)

Instructions
  1. Place bread sides/corners in a mixer jar and roughly crush it and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds when seeds crackle then adds cumin seeds, curry leaves, peanut, green chili, and onion in a pan and saute for few seconds.
  3. Now, add ginger paste, tomato, carrot, corn seeds, peas and water in a pan. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. After that, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, red chili powder, sugar, lemon juice, and desiccated coconut in a pan. Mix it well.
  5. Add crushed bread in a pan and mix well. Also, add coriander leaves in a pan and mix well.
  6. Cover and cook for a few seconds.
  7. Bread upma is ready to serve.
