  • 1 cup Chopped lauki(bottle gourd)
  • 1/2 cup Chana dal
  • Water as required
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp  Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 small cube Jaggery (gud)
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1-2 Green  chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • few Curry leaves
  • pinch Hing
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • few Coriander leaves (chopped)

  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1-2 Green  chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • few Curry leaves
  • pinch Hing
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • few Coriander leaves (chopped)
Instructions
  1. Soak chana dal in a warm water for 15 minutes.
  2. After 15 minutes, place chana dal with 1 cup of water into pressure cooker for 2 whistle. Then filter it and keep aside.
  3. Now heat oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard seeds, when seeds crackle then add cumin seeds, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, curry leaves and hing. Saute for few seconds.
  4. Add turmeric powder and chopped lauki. Mix it well. Also add 1 cup of water into cooker.
  5. Furthermore add coriander powder, red chili powder, jaggery, salt and boiled chana dal. Mix everything really well.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook for 2 whistles.
  7. After 2 whistles, cool it itself to room temperature.
  8. At last add lemon juice and coriander leaves.Mix it well.
  9. Transfer sabzi into bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
