  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 1/2 cup Green moong dal + masur dal
  • 1/2 cup Raw mango(chopped)
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 medium Capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 carrot(chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Beans
  • 1/2 cup Potato (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Peas(mutter)
  • 2 Chopped Green chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • few Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp  Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar(optional)
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 2 pinches Hing
  • pinch Methi seeds
  • 2.5 cup Water

  • 1 medium Capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 carrot(chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Beans
  • 1/2 cup Potato (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Peas(mutter)
  • 2 Chopped Green chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • few Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp  Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar(optional)
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 2 pinches Hing
  • pinch Methi seeds
  • 2.5 cup Water
Instructions
For Khichdi
  1. Soak rice + moong dal + masur dal in a enough water for 15 minutes.
  2. After 15 minutes drain it and place in a pressure cooker and add water, turmeric powder,potato, beans and salt in a cooker.
  3. Mix everything really well. Cover with a lid and put pressure cooker for 2 whistle on medium flame.
  4. After 2 whistle, keep aside and let itself cool on room temperature.
For Masala
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. when seeds crackle then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, hing, methi seeds, ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Saute for few seconds.
  2. After that, add onion and saute till it turns light brown.
  3. Next add capsicum, carrot, tomato, peas and mango in a pan. Mix it well. Saute for 5 minutes or till it release some oil and stir once or twice.
  4. Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, sugar, lemon juice and salt. Mix it well.
  5. Add khichdi in a pan. Mix it well. Adjust salt and red chili taste if required.
  6. Transfer masala khichdi in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Rajwadi khichdi is ready to serve.
