Sago pudding is a sweet pudding made by boiling sago with either water or milk and adding sugar and sometimes additional flavourings. It is made in many cultures with varying styles, and may be produced in a variety of ways.(Source : Wikipedia)

  • 1/2 cup Sabudana
  • 500 gms Milk
  • 2 tbsp Almond slices
  • 2 tbsp Kishmish
  • 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

  • 1/2 cup Sabudana
  • 500 gms Milk
  • 2 tbsp Almond slices
  • 2 tbsp Kishmish
  • 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
Instructions
  1. Wash and soak sabudana in a warm water for 4 hours.
  2. After 4 hours, drain it and keep aside.
  3. Boil milk in a pan and add soaked sabudana in a milk. Mix it well.
  4. Also add sugar and cardamom powder in a pan.Boil kheer for 5 to 10 minutes on low to medium flame. Stir occasionally.
  5. Further more add almond slice, kishmish and cashew nuts. Mix everything really well.
  6. Turn off the flame and transfer kheer into bowl. Garnish with kishmish or cashew nuts.
  7. Serve kheer hot or cool with puri.
